Avenues for Success® is an educational program that provides extended learning opportunities, both before and after school, for students of all ages in the Norwood City School District.  The non-traditional social, academic, and recreational clubs offered through this program help enrich the community, promote life-long learning, and foster students capable of thriving in the "real" world.

On behalf of Norwood View Elementary, I would like to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year. We are looking forward to having our students back in our building as we build on the successes of last year. 

This year we have a few changes to our staff. With the retirement of Betty Bothwell and Bob Murphy, we will be sharing some specials teachers with both Sharpsburg Elementary and Williams Elementary. Katie Gellert will travel from Sharpsburg to come over and help teacher music along with Joe Waked from Williams. Both have been with Norwood Schools for over a decade and bring a very extensive background of music. Both will be a great addition to our musical team!

The annual Tax-Free Holiday is always the first weekend in August. During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:

-An item of clothing priced at $75 or less;

-An item of school supplies priced at $20 or less; and

-An item of school instructional material priced at $20 or less.
